No doubt you have heard of the Mayan prophecies and the numerous ‘end of the world’ predictions around the upcoming date of 21 December. But did you know that the living Maya of Guatemala urgently want it to be known that their ancient prophecies have been distorted and mis-portrayed as doomsday predictions? They do not advocate all the fear and hysteria that is being generated and they want people to be aware that most of the 2012 (mis)information being put out is not sourced from the Maya or their calendars whatsoever, even though it may appear to be associated with them.
The Mayan Calendar does ends December 21, 2012, however a NEW Mayan Calendar count begins. The significance of this Calendar end-date is that a 26,000 year astronomic cycle ends and begins anew, and creates a grand opportunity for transformation of humanity’s consciousness is to occur.
In a very real sense what occurs on the 12-12-12 is the Ascension, and what takes place on December 21, 2012 is the Initial Birthing Solstice of the “New Earth”.
