Where is Byron Bay Detox Retreats located?

At Byron Bay Detox Retreats, you stay in a selection of luxurious and rustic cottages that are dotted among 30 hectares of tea tree-strewn native bushland that fronts onto the turquoise waters of Tallows Beach, just south of Australia’s most easterly point, Cape Byron.

The centre is equipped with a colonic hydrotherapy machine, treatment rooms, infrared sauna and a pyramid-like yoga shala for yoga, meditation and sound healing sessions.

You can be assured of a tranquil, negative-ion rich sanctuary to assist your purification journey. Only the sounds of nature, such as the kookaburras’ delight at breaking waves, accompany you on during the tranquil journey of restoring internal balance to your body in this sub-tropical paradise.

Heritage bushwalks, beach paths, protected swimming areas, sites of indigenous significance and bird watching vantage points are all at the retreat centre’s footstep.

Can I have my own room?

Yes, everyone who stays at Byron bay Detox retreats has their own room.

If booking a room with its ensuite is important to you, we encourage you to book well in advance to ensure that your first preference is available. Depending on which retreat you decide to attend, the availability of rooms vary.

Typically, you might stay in a renovated, timber-floored cottage with bedroom, living room, kitchenette and decking, where you have privacy and solitude, and you would share an ensuite with a neighbour.

How can I prepare for my retreat?

We will send out pre-cleanse information once a booking is made. These guidelines will ease the transition in to your detox and minimise any side effects.

Question 6

How do I get to Byron Bay Detox Retreats?

Accepted Answer

You can fly in to either Ballina/Byron airport (about 30 minutes’ drive away) or Coolangatta airport (about a one-hour drive away).

There are shuttle buses that will bring you directly to the retreat centre – $20 from Ballina/Byron airport or $40 from Coolangatta airport. Once you have booked your retreat, we will send you information on how to book an airport shuttle.

Do you have a payment plan?

You attending one of our retreats and commencing a purifying journey towards a healthier, happier self is important to us, so if you are having difficulties in making payment within the required period, speak to us and we will endeavour to assist you.

Question 8

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

All payments made, including deposits, are non-refundable and changes to your booking will incur cancellation or postponement fees. However, we want you to undertake a detoxifying journey with us, so any credit will be held on your behalf for you to use at a subsequent retreat within 12 months of the original booking.
